Position Title:

External Description: Description & Requirements

The Private Client Service Manager is a client focused, internal services role within FORVIS Private Client. This individual will work with multiple team members supporting client service, tax services, wealth strategy and tax planning.

How you will contribute:

  • Support a team of advisors serving ultra-high net worth families: develop open items list, maintain status of open items list, gather data from client and provide to tax team, coordinates receipt of information and develop delivery turnaround expectations, determines clients' schedules to develop realistic delivery expectations
  • Facilitate communications between clients and team members
  • Manage progress on routine and non-routine client service tasks; developing the skills necessary to resolve many of these items personally as appropriate
  • Prepare new account paperwork and manage subsequent changes as applicable
  • Maintain frequent contact with clients to provide or obtain updated information
  • Schedule meetings with service team, advisors, and/or clients and troubleshooting
  • Augment and at all times support Private Client team members' roles as trusted advisors
  • Assist families with navigating the complex tax world, including coordination of information, responses to tax notices, and strategizing on next steps
  • Ensure clients receive unmatched client service and communicate any areas for improvement of client relationship to team leadership when needed; assure full transparency of information to everyone involved
  • Develop and maintain in-depth expertise and global knowledge of wealth management services, mostly focused upon tax advice
  • Maintain up-to-date client records in systems, this includes but is not limited to contact information, records of client communications, upcoming deadlines, meeting history and other client interaction notes
  • Schedule and coordinates meetings with clients
  • Facilitate billings and prepares draft invoices
  • Prepare and maintains engagement letters/Powers of Attorney
  • Send relevant news articles and informative works to clients relating to their needs, goals or interests
  • Manage an IRS and state notice log including managing the updates of such notices through to resolution
  • Monitor due date report
  • Manage Theory, International Theory and State Theory reviews
  • Monitor evaluations and coaching cadence with oversight from local office HR

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3 years of related experience, 5 years preferred
  • Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and industry-specific software (CRM software and performance management), including the ability to train others
  • Prior experience in wealth management
