As part of our growing Capital Markets team, you will work with our clients, including some of the most iconic financial services companies globally, as they reshape financial services for the future. You will gain in-depth experiences around digital transformation, strategy, and business change initiatives, both emerging and current, to help our global clients create competitive advantages and respond to evolving global regulatory requirements.

  • Capital Markets Infrastructure & Settlements
  • Global Banking & Markets Regulations, including CAT, FRTB, MiFID & MiFIR, UMR, Securities Financing Transactions, Volker
  • Global Markets and Banking Risk Management & Governance
  • Digital Transformation
  • Banking and Markets Operational Changes, including T+1, LIBOR
  • Data Privacy and Security
  • Data Management


How you will Contribute:
  • Help clients with full-life cycle of business change, including current state assessments, future state design and roadmap development within core global baking and markets business units
  • Perform root-cause analysis around critical processes and issues remediation
  • Performing Data Quality Assessments and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Development of issues management response strategy and execution support
  • Development of new policies, procedures, and processes connected to performance and process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze customer and product strategies and provide performance improvement recommendations
  • Organizational design and change management
  • Achieving and maintaining high quality in work, client relations, and team relations
  • Acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty
  • Assuming the responsibility for staff work and ensuring high quality of work is delivered within established deadlines
  • Serving in a leadership role on client work as technical knowledge and experience grows
  • Supporting any training and mentoring to staff and interns as necessary
  • Executing and helping to lead client engagement activities in all phases of project life cycle from start to finish


We Are Looking for People Who Have Forward Vision and:
  • Knowledge of Financial Services Regulations connected to business products spanning Global Banking and Capital Markets
  • Product knowledge spanning (debt, equity, commodity, fx, derivatives) and related core front, middle, and back office key processes
  • In-depth project management skills, including working knowledge of current PM tools/techniques (i.e., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Working knowledge of capital markets technology platforms
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the business and technology change process within capital markets business

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 12+ years or more of experience in public accounting, regulatory compliance, or related consulting experience
  • BA or BS or Masters in Finance, Accounting, Business
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Investment Bank experience with Top US/International GSIBs either serving in consulting roles with Big 4/Big 4 Equivalent or directly with investment banks
  • Working knowledge of capital markets products and operational processes
  • Working knowledge of key topics, including FRTB, CAT, T+1, Data Management, LIBOR Decommissioning


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications (CPA, CRCM, CFA, Six Sigma Black Belt, Change Certifications, etc. )
  • Working knowledge of key capital markets major technology platforms and or in-depth knowledge of homegrown platforms leveraged by large investment banks
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with experience managing professional services teams and client deliverables


New York

Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York City and Westchester County, New York, the salary range displayed is for the New York City and Westchester County, New York, markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. FORVIS reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
