Position Title:

External Description: Description & Requirements

How you will contribute:

  • Recommend and initiate opportunities for operational improvements around workforce strategies and scheduling
  • Collaborate with local office Human Resources (HR), Managing Partner (MP), Talent Acquisition (TA) and others in the Southwest region
  • Manage Houston Operations team
  • Authorize systems access for employees
  • Manage operational projects for the MP, participating in setting the objectives of the project and exercising judgment in determining methods for project completion
  • Lead new hire orientation for office operations in collaboration with TA and HR
  • Develop a strategic plan around workforce engagement and long-term hiring strategies
  • Assist MP with review and approval of facility and operations invoices for accounts payable
  • Direct support for staff hiring, performance reviews, coaching and other staffing considerations in collaboration with TA and HR
  • Oversee coordination of schedule for support team and overtime and weekend coverage during peak seasons
  • Create a plan for leveraging and cross-training team members to ensure appropriate productivity
  • Direct office/workstation moves
  • Oversee the hoteling process if applicable to the office

  • Well-developed management, organizational, and administrative skills
  • The ability to operate independently
  • Strong project management, decision-making, writing, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with regular interruptions
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to quickly learn firm policies, procedures, infrastructure, and service lines
  • Ability to interact diplomatically with individuals and teams of diverse backgrounds (interns/staff to partners/owners)

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
