External Description: Responsibilities

The Advisory Marketing Manager role is a unique and exciting opportunity to be a leader in a dynamic professional services practice, that provides a wide range of marketing support to more than 1,500 client-facing advisors. It is a senior-level role that requires past experience as a marketing or brand manager for a large firm. The Manager will proactively develop a working knowledge of the firm's comprehensive industry practices and service lines. This leader will coordinate with numerous firm resources and Advisory leaders to fully understand all aspects of the Advisory marketing strategy in order to leverage tools, teams, support, and best practices to advance FORVIS' Advisory nationally and internationally. This role requires innovative and knowledgeable marketing guidance and client-centric collaborations to champion and promote FORVIS Advisory's go-to-market strategy within and across many uniqu e business units.

How you will contribute:

  • Adapt firm brand strategy for target markets and align Advisory brand strategy and segment visions for the Top 1000, Middle Market, and Healthcare
  • Continue to build upon FORVIS' brand strategy for Advisory services, to reflect where we are now and where we want to be in the future, and manage a strong, cross-functional roadmap to get us there
  • Lead the creation of buyer personas and journeys and develop a deep understanding of the needs, values, and drivers of our clients across segments, services, and products
  • Strive for constant collaboration with relevant Industry Marketing Leads and always integrate this understanding into marketing activities and strategies with Advisory Marketing Leads
  • Analyze competitive positioning, services, products, brands, and spending in order for FORVIS to maintain an active and relevant position in the marketplace
  • Be resourceful and strategically drive key marketing initiatives for Advisory
  • Be a leading voice for brand protection for all Advisory marketing content and ensure it is in line with overall firm brand positioning and voice.
  • Be a conduit for cross-serve opportunities across our solutions and segments
  • Coach Advisory Marketing Leads and the Advisory Marketing Coordinator on their growth and effectiveness within the firm
  • Collaborate closely with the Advisory Marketing Director to develop and implement change and growth initiatives consistent with firm strategy
  • Maintain an overview and understanding of the Advisory pipeline in the CRM
  • Develop and maintain good rapport and strong relationships within the firmwide marketing department and with our external clients
  • Liaise and facilitate communication and collaboration between Advisory and the rest of the firm
  • Be willing and able to step in as Advisory Marketing Director proxy in C-Suite level meetings when necessary

  • The ability to be self-motivated and accountable thrives in a team environment in addition to working alone with minimal direction
  • Willing to travel when needed


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communication, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • 7+ years of experience in brand management or marketing management role
  • Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Healthcare, Financial Markets, Manufacturing, Insurance, or Commercial Products experience
  • Previous experience in consulting, professional services, or top 20 public accounting firms
