Description & Requirements
This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates who possess strong attention to detail, sensitivity to deadlines, and leadership and management capabilities. Dedication to client service is essential, including consistent positive interactions with clients and the demonstration of effective communication and people skills. The successful candidate will be an independent worker with excellent project management and time management skills.
How you will contribute:
- Assisting in the planning and scoping of assigned projects
- Assisting in the development and creation of test plans and perform walk-throughs
- Interviewing client personnel to understand and document business processes, risks, and controls in narratives and flowcharts
- Testing for compliance with policies, regulations, and contract provisions and providing recommendations to minimize deficiencies
- Performing operational and process improvement assessments, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance engagements, IT general control and assurance reviews, vendor contract compliance audits and other special projects around business processes, risks and controls
- Preparing work papers including proper documentation of work performed, findings and exceptions
- Delivering FORVIS' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients.
We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:

- Ability to travel up to 20%
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, or a related field from an accredited university
- Basic knowledge of internal control concepts, IIA internal auditing standards
- Up to 2 years or more of risk management/internal audit/SOX experience
- Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall) preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of internal control concepts, IIA internal auditing standards, COSO and ITGCs
- Relevant certifications, such as CPA, CIA and/or CISA
