External Description: Responsibilities

As we look toward expanding our Practice Unit capabilities and services, we need a strong marketer to lead the Risk Advisory Services efforts targeting the Top 1000 companies. This practice unit encompasses Enterprise Risk & Quantitative Services, Internal Audit, Financial Services Regulatory, CFO & Business Advisory, Search and Professional Staffing.

The Marketing Lead will work closely with senior management and will be accountable for providing a blend of strategic marketing planning/execution and project management leadership. This is a key leadership role on the Advisory Marketing Team and will work in close collaboration with our Top 1000 segment leader and industry marketers to grow opportunities for the new firm. The position requires innovative and client-focused collaboration with our Advisory professionals with the goal of articulating our vision for unmatched client experiences through a comprehensive marketing strategy. This is a creative and fast-paced role serving one of the largest and most diverse practice units of our organization.

How you will contribute:

  • Plan and manage the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for respective practice unit. Integrated campaigns include but are not limited to print, digital and social media tactical elements.
  • Manage, curate and plan the distribution of thought leadership (content marketing).
  • Drawing on resources of the firm, produce series of webinars targeted at clients and prospects. This also includes analyzing webinar attendee reports, distributing results to client service personnel and monitoring and executing follow up activities.
  • Plan and execute firm participation in industry trade shows and conferences. This includes sponsorship negotiation, planning onsite events, booth logistics and follow-up activities.
  • Build relationships with and support marketing activities of client service professionals within the market.
  • Provide input and insight into large, complex sales pursuits and written proposals as requested.
  • Conduct business intelligence research and build target pursuit lists.
  • Be the liaison with the web developer to ensure the firm's relevant web site content is current and search engines are maximized.
  • Understand and implement the firm's brand and how it translates to all audiences of the firm.

  • Ability to travel in order to attend internal and external conferences, as needed.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communication, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing communications or marketing content role
  • Experience with a Top 1000 company in a marketing role or with a global professional services firm
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently managing multiple tasks, often under tight deadlines.
  • Must be a collaborator with a cheerful outlook.
  • Ability to work closely and effectively with all levels of management with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Prior experience managing a dedicated marketing team a plus
