FORVIS is looking for an innovative and highly motivated Managing Consultant with a proven track record in the restructuring space providing strategic, financial, and operational expertise for solutions achieving stability and a path forward to corporate organizations. Our (RSS) practice is seeking motivated professionals motivated by working to expand this business segment while providing meaningful career opportunities for team members.
Our ideal candidate will have large or national consulting firm experience with demonstrated leadership in assessing varied business situations, setting direction, and providing clients value through operational resolutions and problem-solving.

How you will contribute:
- Leading, developing, and executing strategies for clients which improve overall company performance ranging from turnaround and recovery, refinancing and recapitalization, or transition planning and reorganization.
- Assesses business viability, options, and as appropriate, developing initiatives to drive operational performance improvement
- Leading, developing, and motivating team members to maximize efficient and meaningful delivery of services
- Analyzing and operationalizing company business plans including the oversight of the preparation of cash flow and financial models with an appropriate review of detail and substance
- Analyzing Revenue and profit drivers, expenses, and customer and/or product revenue and profitability
- Developing cost reduction initiatives and analyzing expenditures along with opportunities for working capital improvements
- Analyzing supply chains, understanding and assessing relevance and risks, and prioritizing vendors and potential alternatives
- Confidently working with executives, private equity and corporate clients, attorneys, or other stakeholders
- Managing, motivating, and collaborating with FORVIS team members to maximize efficient delivery of services
- Meaningfully develop and cultivate referral sources and professional relationships
- Intentionally developing business relationships that lead to client engagement opportunities
- Assisting in managing, developing, and coaching professional staff
- Extensive analytical skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with project management skills
- Exceptional organization skills and capacity to manage multiple workstreams in tandem
- Ability to establish relevance and direction when presented with large volumes of data, information, or facts
- Exceptional/advanced excel and data analytics skills
- Commitment to integrity and objectivity
- Willingness and ability to travel
Minimum Requirements:
- Five (5) years of experience with a national or large regional public accounting or similar consulting firm with at least five (5) years of recent direct restructuring experience
- Bachelor's degree with a business major in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university; CPA, MBA, CIRA, or CTP strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

New York City Pay Transparency
Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York City and Westchester County, New York, the salary range displayed is for the New York City and Westchester County, New York, markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. FORVIS reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
