Position Title:

External Description: Description & Requirements

Responsibilities include working with multiple clients and assisting with projects that range from small to large and complex, designing and delivering reporting and analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI. A successful consultant will utilize the FORVIS OnTrack Project Delivery Methodology to identify client requirements, determine and design reporting solutions, and deliver solutions on time and within budget. Activities include participating in requirements gathering sessions, completing the necessary documentation, delivering training, resolving client questions and issues, and building reports and dashboards to meet client requirements.

How you will contribute:

Assisting clients with integrating Solver with Power BI
Developing, publishing, and scheduling reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
Assisting business users with functional and data requirements to enhance data models
Developing self-service models, and data analytics using Power BI service
Development and support of visualization tools
Developing tabular, multidimensional models compatible with warehouse standards
Providing client training
Creating integrations to import data from files and source systems
Creating rules to automate data updates
Configuring the Data Warehouse to store data based on client requirements
Designing and developing dashboard solutions with Solver leveraging Power BI Participate in client meetings to gather business requirements and map to the solution capabilities
Performing gap analysis from requirements gathering to solution proposed
Producing project documentation such as Functional Requirements Document, Customization Specifications, User Acceptance Test Scripts, and End User Training Documentation using FORVIS' OnTrack project implementation methodology
Participating in all tasks relating to feature testing, solution testing, and user acceptance testing

Self-directed with a demonstrated work ethic and ability to perform under pressure
Unmatched client service skills and is service-oriented
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into system configuration and processes
Excellent documentation and business writing skills
Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and implementing business workflows and process
Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines

Minimum Qualifications:

Demonstrated proficiency with implementing and supporting Microsoft Power BI
Two (2) years of software and/or reporting consulting experience preferred (would substitute similar years of experience in public accounting in an audit or advisory role)
BS in Accounting/Finance or Computer Science/Information Technology OR the equivalent experience
Experience with Solver or similar reporting and budgeting solutions
Experience and understanding of creating financial statements
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
