Position Title:

External Description: Responsibilities

How you will contribute:

  • Planning, executing, and reporting on a variety of compliance reports including SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 examinations, HITRUST assessments, and ISO 27001 Certifications
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of assurance and compliance standards appropriate for assigned engagements
  • Maintaining and achieving high quality in work, client relations, and team relations
  • Acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty
  • Serving in more of a leadership role on client work as technical knowledge and experience grow
  • Anticipating and identifying engagement-related risks and escalating issues as appropriate promptly
  • Conducting tests of design and operating effectiveness of controls
  • Supporting any training and mentoring to interns, as necessary
  • Executing and helping to lead client engagement activities in all phases of the project life cycle from start to end

  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based environment
  • Support knowledge-sharing efforts and continually improve processes so that the Risk Advisory
  • Team can capture and leverage the knowledge


Qualifications

  • 3 years or more of SOC-related experience or an Associate degree in a business-related or IT-related major
  • BA or BS in Business, Information Systems, accounting, finance, computer science or related field or related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in information systems, accounting, finance, computer science
  • Experience working as an IT Auditor or IT risk adviser on SOC Reports for a public accounting firm, a professional services firm, or within a similar industry
  • CPA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CCSFP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CBCP, or CIA certification
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite expertise
